WESTFIELD, Mass. – The Bridgewater State University women's tennis team placed tenth out of 38 teams at the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State University on Saturday at Stanley Park.

Sophomore Danielle Poto (North Andover, Mass.) paced the Bears with a 21st place showing as she completed the five-kilometer course in a time of 19:53.24.

Junior Krysta Zbikowski (Ashburnham, Mass.) was next across the line for the Bears as she posted a time of 20:07.69 to finish 33rd overall.  Sophomore Samantha Pinkham (Hingham, Mass.) rounded out the BSU harriers in the top 100 as she placed 66th with a time of 20:45.39.

Next Saturday, the Bears will compete at the Connecticut College Invitational held at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, Connecticut.
