DANBURY, Conn. -- The Western Connecticut State University women's tennis team captured its first-ever Little East Conference Tournament title with a 5-3 victory over Bridgewater State College at Westside Courts on Thursday afternoon.

SALEM, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State College Bears upset the Salem State Lady Vikings in the semifinal round of the 2009 Little East Conference Women’s Tennis Tournament on Sunday afternoon. The third seeded Bears swept the doubles matches en route to a 5-1 win over the host and number two seed Lady Vikings.

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State College women's tennis team advanced to the semifinal round of the 2009 Little East Conference Tournament as the Bears downed the University of Southern Maine, 5-3, in quarterfinal action this afternoon at the Rosen Memorial Tennis Courts in Bridgewater.
