MANSFIELD, Mass. -- It was just over two years ago that Bridgett Lasbury-Casey and her wife Meghan received the news no parent ever wants to hear. Their 5-month-old son, Liam, had been diagnosed with Rhabdomyoscaroma, a rare muscular cancer, and would need surgery to remove tumors from his lungs.

Bridgett Lasbury-Casey usually keeps her running less than two miles.
But on Monday, the 38-year-old Easton native will run 26.2-miles in the Boston Marathon in the name of her 2-year-old son and a rare form of cancer.
