WATERFORD, Conn. -- Senior Molly Rouillard (Dartmouth, Mass.) captured the individual title to lead the Bridgewater State University women's cross country teamt the Connecticut College Invitational on Saturday.

Rouillard covered the six-kilometer course in a winning time of 21:44 as she edged senior Samantha Mayden of Muhlenberg by nine seconds.

Bridgewater finished 14th overall in the team standings. Tufts University won the team title followed by Plattsburgh State in second place and Keene State in third.

Freshman Danielle Poto (North Andover, Mass.) was next acrosse the line for the Bears as she finished in 50th place with a time of 23:46. Classmate Samantha Pinkham (Hingham, Mass.) posted a time of 25:05 to place 93rd.

After a week off, Bridgewater will compete at the MASCAC/Alliance Championships hosted by Westfield State University on October 27th.
