PLYMOUTH, N.H. -- The Bridgewater State University wrestling team competed at the Jim Aguiar Invitational hosted by Plymouth State University on Saturday.

Sophomore Andrew Szilagyi (Levittown, N.Y.) placed third out of the 165-pound weight class to lead the way for the Bears. Szilagyi, who went 3-1 at the tournament, avenged a first round loss with a win by fall (5:47) over Matthew Frank of Springfield Tech. in the third place match.

Sophomore Andrew Valdina (Dracut, Mass.) went 2-2 out of the 133-pound weight class with a 5-2 consolation semifinal win over Eric Wall of New England College. Valdina dropped a 7-2 decision to Anthony Calvano of New York University in the third place match.

The Bears finished tenth in the team standings with 22.5 points.
