RIVERDALE, N.Y. -- Senior Andrew Gauthier (Lowell, Mass.) and sophomore Paul Sughrue (Methuen, Mass.) finished second in their respective weight classes to lead the Bridgewater State University wrestling team at the non-scoring College of Mount Saint Vincent Dolphin Invitational.

Gauthier went 3-1 with a pair of pins as well as a technical fall victory out of the 125-pound weight class, while Sughrue posted a 1-1 mark competing out of the 141-pound bracket.

Freshman Matthew Jiampetti (Egg Harbor City, N.J.), sophomore Jason Gebara (Brockton, Mass.), junior Ryan Cassidy (Billerica, Mass.) and senior Brett Reed (Mansfield, Mass.) each placed third in their respective weight classes. Jiampett posted a record of 3-2 with a pin at 149, while Gerbara went 3-2 at 165.  Cassidy and Reed both finished 2-2 at 174 and 125, respectively.

Next Saturday, the Bears travel to Plymouth State University for a noontime dual match with the Panthers.
