BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University junior attack Elizabeth Ettridge has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week.

A native of Marshfield, Massachusetts, Ettridge tallied nine goals, four ground balls and six draw controls in two games for the Bears to open the season.

Ettridge potted four goals to along with two ground balls and two draws in an 18-5 season-opening setback to Babson College. She also notched five goals, two ground balls, four draws and a caused turnover in a 9-7 victory over Mount Holyoke College.

In 39 games over her first three seasons with the Bears, Ettridge has amassed 90 goals and 28 assists for 118 points to go along with 43 ground balls, 45 draws and 19 caused turnovers.

The BSU women's lacrosse team is currently 1-1 on the young season. The Bears are back in action on Tuesday morning at ten when they take on Methodist University at SpringFling 2018 in Englewood, Florida.
