BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second straight week and third time this season, Bridgewater State University freshman midfielder Elizabeth Ettridge has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week.

Ettridge notched six goals and two assists for eight points to go along with two ground balls and five draw controls in three games for the Bears last week. The Marshfield, Massachusetts product tallied three goals, a pair of assists, a ground ball and four draws in a 19-4 MASCAC win over MCLA. She also scored three goals and added a ground ball and a draw in a pair of setbacks to Plymouth State University and Roger Williams University.

Through 11 games this season, Ettridge has produced 20 goals and seven assists for 27 points. She has also been credited with 11 ground balls, 14 draw controls and five caused turnovers.

Ettridge also garnered MASCAC Rookie of the Week honors on March 14th, March 21st and April 11th.

The BSU women's lacrosse team is currently 7-4 on the season and a perfect 3-0 in the MASCAC. The Bears travel to Westfield State University on Tuesday night to take on the Owls at seven.
