FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- Four different players scored in double figures to lead the Framingham State University women's basketball team to an 84-54 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) victory over visiting Bridgewater State University on Sunday evening at the Athletic & Recreation Center.

With the win, the host Rams improve to 11-2 on the season and 2-0 in the MASCAC. The Bears fall to 4-9 overall and 0-1 in conference play.

Framingham State senior center Alycia Rackliffe (Feeding Hills, Mass.) scored 14 points and collected ten rebounds for a double-double. During the game, Rackliffe became the tenth player in program history to reach the 1,000-point milestone.

Junior guard Raegan Mulherin (Baldwinville, Mass.) scored a game-high 16 points with eight boards and four assists. Senior forward Monta Connolly (Lynn, Mass.) added 14 points of her own while freshman forward Mallory DeFeo (Arlington, Mass.) contributed 12 points off the bench.

Bridgewater State was led by freshman guard Nicole Bostick (Bridgewater, Mass.) who scored 14 points, 12 of which came from beyond the arc, in 17 minutes off the bench. Junior forward Janet Maher (Mansfield, Mass.) added nine points and a team-best four rebounds for the visitors.

BSU reserves accounted for 35 of the team's 54 points.

A Maher layup a little over halfway through the second quarter gave the Bears a 25-24 lead, but the Rams would come charging back. The hosts then spun off a 15-0 run spanning into the opening minutes of the third to take a 39-25 advantage. The Rams outscored the Bears 28-12 in the third frame to put the game out of reach.

The Rams shot 47% from the floor (31-of-66) and 30% (6-for-20) from long range. The Bears shot 30% (20-of-66) from the field and 31% (9-for-29) from beyond the arc.

The Rams held the advantage in rebounding (56-33), points in the paint (48-16) and second chance points (21-7). Framingham also held a 28-13 edge in points off turnovers despite turning the ball over 23 times.

The MASCAC schedule continues for both teams on Wednesday. The Rams travel to Westfield State University, while the Bears host Fitchburg State University.
