BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – Bridgewater State University sophomore righthander Kelley Reichert has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Reichert went 3-3 in the circle with six complete games and a shutout in eight appearances (six starts) for the Bears at The Spring Games in Clermont, Florida. The Milford, Massachusetts product posted a 3.23 earned run average over 47 2/3 innings with 25 strikeouts.

Reichert scattered six hits and fanned five in an 8-0 shutout of Cornell College. She also allowed four earned runs on ten hits with a strikeout in a 6-5 win over Plymouth State University, and three earned runs on nine hits over eight innings with four strikeouts in a 6-5 victory over Clarkson University.

In 31 appearances (26 starts) for the Bears over her first two seasons, Reichert has produced a record of 11-11 with 19 complete games, three shutouts and one save. She has fanned 76 batters in 169 2/3 innings of work with a 2.85 career ERA.
