BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University senior forward Zoe Bergeron has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week.

Bergeron scored a pair of goals in a 1-0-1 week for the Bears. The Blackstone, Massachusetts product found the back of the net in a hard-fought 1-1 tie against Eastern Connecticut State University. She also scored her first marker of the season earlier in the week in a 4-0 shutout victory over Dean College.

In 36 games over three seasons with the Bears, Bergeron has recorded seven goals (1 GWG) and three assists for 17 points.

The BSU field hockey team is currently 1-1-1 on the young season. The Bears entertain Anna Maria College on Thursday night at seven o'clock from Mazzaferro Field.
