SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Bridgewater State University senior Natalie Kalgren (Ayer, Mass.) was the lone member of the women's track & field team to compete on Wednesday at the Bryant Indoor Throws Competition.

The meet featured student-athletes from all three NCAA divisions as well as club and unattached individuals.

Kalgren placed 18th in the weight throw out of a field of 26 competitors with a toss of 30 feet, 6.5 inches (9.31m). She also finished 19th in the shot put out of 29 student-athletes with a distance of 30 feet, one inch (9.17m).

The indoor schedule continues for the BSU track & field teams on Saturday as the Bears compete at the Suffolk Ice Breaker Invitational held at The Track at New Balance.
