
NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Bridgewater State University senior Samantha Richner competed in the high jump at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois.
A native of Hanson, Massachusetts, Richner recorded a leap of five feet, three inches (1.60m) on her second jump of the afternoon to place 16th in the event.
Richner, who was competing at her second straight NCAA championship meet, qualified for the indoor championships with a school-record mark of five feet, seven inches (1.70m) posted at the season-opening UMass Boston Invitational.
