
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University junior Samanath Richner (Hanson, Mass.) placed tenth out of 13 competitors in the pentathlon at the Harvard Multi Meet on Friday.
Richner posted a score of 3,014 points which was just 31 shy of teammate Ariele Krevosky's school mark of 3,045 points set last season.
In an event which featured mostly Division I and Division II student athletes, Richner posted a score of 765 points in the 60-meter hurdles (9.72 seconds) and 747 points in the high jump (5'3.25"/1.61m). She also tallied 573 points in the long jump (16'7"/5.05m), 497 points in the shot put (31'2"/9.50m) and 432 points in the 800-meter run (2:53.12).
Richner currently ranks seventh in all of Division III in the pentathlon and 21st in the high jump.
