NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State College women's outdoor track and field team placed eighth in the New England Alliance Championships as the Bears posted a score of 38 points.

Seven different student-athletes earned All-New England Alliance honors for the Bears led by junior Brittany Page (Winthrop, MA) who captured the individual title in the hammer throw with a distance of 136 feet, 6 inches.

Sophomores Co Davis (Mansfield, MA) and Carrie Robitaille (Ludlow, MA) posted All-Alliance performances in multiple events.  Davis finished second in the 400-meter hurdles (1:07.44) and fourth in the 400-meter dash (1:00.79), while Robitaille placed fifth in the 100-meter hurdles (16.65 seconds) and eighth in the triple jump (33 feet 10.25 inches).

Rounding out BSC's All-New England Alliance performers were senior Kerri Rooke (Springfield, MA) in the 10,000-meter run (44:34.35); junior Jessica Eidinger (Sutton, MA) in the 1,500-meter run (5:06.87); junior Brittany Robinson in the 5,000-meter run (21:07.93); and sophomore Kerry Mullane (Holbrook, MA) in the javelin (114 feet, 5 inches). Mullane posted a fifth place finish, while Rooke, Eidinger and Robinson all placed eighth in their respective events.

The University of Southern Maine Huskies won the meet with a score of 230 points, followed by Worcester State College (129 pts) and Keene State College (107 pts).
