SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Bridgewater State College outdoor track and field teams competed at the Bryant University Invitational on Saturday in a non-scoring meet.

Freshman Felix Mensah (Lowell, MA) paced the BSC men's team as he placed third in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.35 seconds.

Also finishing in third place in their respective events were freshman Stephen Wahome (Lowell, MA) and senior captain Kevin White (Swansea, MA).  Wahome completed the 5,000-meter run in a time of 15:52.27, while White recorded a time of 15.74 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles.

On the women's side, sophomore Kerry Mullane (Holbrook, MA) posted a distance of 119 feet, three inches in the javelin to finish fifth in the event.

Junior captain Brittany Page (Winthrop, MA) placed fifth in the hammer throw with a toss of 130 feet, three inches, while sophomore captain Carrie Robitaille (Ludlow, MA) finished eighth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.91 seconds.
