Men's Results | Women's Results

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Senior Avery Bouchard and sophomore Amanda Hauswirth highlighted the Bridgewater State College men's and women's indoor track and field teams at the Harvard Open on Saturday.

Bouchard broke his second school record in as many weeks as he shattered the BSC mark in the 5,000-meter run.  The Fall River, Massachusetts native finished second in the event with a time of 15:06.68, bettering the previous standard of 15:34.00 (Brendan Lynch, 2001) by nearly 28 seconds.  Last week at the Northeastern Husky Winter Carnival, Bouchard eclipsed his own school record in the 3,000-meter run.

Hauswirth was the top Division III runner across the finish line in the 3,000-meter run for the second straight meet.  The Methuen, Massachusetts native posted a time of 10:47.39 to finish sixth overall in the event.  She outdistanced her closest Division III competitor by nearly 22 seconds.
