BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University women's tennis team began preparations for the 2024 season as 12 student-athletes reported to preseason camp on Monday (Aug. 19) and hit the Rosen Memorial courts for the first time on Tuesday morning.

Head Coach David Purpura's (9th Year) squad opens the 2024 campaign on Saturday, August 31st when the Bears travel to the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, Connecticut for a noontime match with the Blue Jays. The home opener is slated for Tuesday, September 3rd (3:30) as the Bears welcome Regis College to the Rosen Courts.

The Little East Conference (LEC) schedule gets underway on Saturday, September 7th when the Bears head to Rhode Island College to take on the Anchorwomen at one o'clock.
