
WORCESTER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University women's swimming & diving team swept a quad meet hosted my Clark University on Saturday afternoon at the Kneller Athletic Center.
The Bears (4-2) edged the host Cougars, 119-17, and earned a 173-59 victory over Western New England University. Bridgewater also defeated Little East foe Rhode Island College but the score was unavailable.
Junior Cailey Simard (Haverhill, Mass.) swept the diving events with scores of 232.25 points on the one-meter board and 252.55 points on the three-meter.
Seniors Jenna Fiebiger (Johannesburg, South Africa), Brianna Matte (Cumberland, R.I.) and Olivia Pelletier (East Kingston, N.H.), and graduate student Brynn Murray (Chelmsford, Mass.) closed out the meet with a victory in the 200 freestyle relay. The foursome posted a time of 1:47.90 to secure the win over Clark.
The Bears are off until Saturday, December 7th (11:00 AM) when they host the BSU Invitational.
