BRISTOL, R.I. -- The Bridgewater State University women's swimming & diving team placed fourth at the Roger Williams Invitational on Saturday.
The Bears finished with 105 points in a meet that was won by Roger Williams with 593 points.
Three BSU relay teams placed with the 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle taking third place while the 200 medley team was fourth.
The 400 freestyle team consisted of graduate student Brynn Murray (Chelmsford, Mass.), freshman Eva Chaves (Raynham, Mass.), senior Olivia Pelletier (East Kingston, N.H.) and senior Jenna Fiebiger (Johannesburg, South Africa). Their time was 4:10.37.
Swimming on the 200 freestyle team were Pelletier, senior Samantha White (Plymouth, Mass.), senior Renee Goodale (Vineyard Haven, Mass.) and Fiebiger. They finished in 1:52.73.
The 200 medley team consisted of junior Julie Remson (Norwalk, Conn.), Chaves, senior Summer Martin (Norton, Mass.) and Murray.
BSU will go against Wheaton College on Friday at 6 p.m. in Norton.
