Women's Basketball

Henry Colon joined the BSU women's basketball coaching staff prior to the 2018–2019 season. Prior to coming to Bridgewater State, Colon served as the head girls varsity coach at Middleboro High School from 2013 to 2018 and Sturgis Charter School in Hyannis from 2011 to 2013. Henry was also the JV and assistant varsity coach for the girls basketball team at Carver High School from 2002 to 2011. He also coached the boys middle school basketball team, the freshman football squad and was the throws coach for the track & field team at Carver from 1999 to 2002.

Henry has also served as the head coach for various AAU basketball programs including Coastal Athletics (2008-2011), Bay State Magic Elite (2010-2016), MCW Starz (2016-2018) and presently the Bay State Jaguars. He guided the Bay State Magic Elite to the 2013 DI Mass. State championship and the MCW Starz to the 2017 East Coast title.

Since 2009, Colon has been the JV coach and varsity line coach for the Bristol-Plymouth Regional Tech. football team. He was also the throws coach for the B-P track & field teams for two years before taking the head coaching reins starting in 2018.

Henry has worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the Forensic Division out of Taunton since 1999.
