BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the fifth time this season, Bridgewater State University freshman Alex Huynh has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Indoor Field Athlete and Rookie of the Week.

A resident of Stoughton, Massachusetts, Huynh captured top honors in the high jump with a leap of six feet, 6.75 inches (2.00m) this past weekend at the Wheaton Post-Season Qualifier.

Huynh is currently 21st in all of Division III in the high jump and third in the East Region.

Huynh also earned MASCAC Rookie of the Week honors on December 10th, January 14th, February 4th and February 11th.

In upcoming action, qualifying members of the BSU track & field teams will compete on Friday, February 28th and Saturday, March 1st at the Division III New England Championships held at The Track at New Balance.
