BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second straight week and fourth time this season, Bridgewater State University freshman Alex Huynh has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Indoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week.

Huynh placed fourth in the long jump with a leap of 22 feet, 1.5 inches (6.74m) this past weekend at the Harvard Crimson Open. The Stoughton, Massachusetts resident also finished 55th in the 60-meter dash with a personal-best time of 7.55 seconds.

The BSU men's track & field team will compete on Sunday afternoon (3:30 PM) at the MASCAC Championships held at Wheaton College.
