Katie Rogier joined the Bridgewater State swimming & diving coaching staff as a volunteer assistant in October of 2022. Katie is a 2018 graduate of BSU where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and secondary education. She went on to receive her Masters in Teaching (MAT) from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2022.
Katie was a four-year member of the Bears' women's swimming & diving team from 2014 to 2018 where she served as a peer mentor for three years and a SAAC representative for one. Katie was awarded the Michelle Calverley Award for the 2014-2015 season. Prior to returning to Bridgewater State, Katie served as the head coach for swimming and an assistant coach for track & field at Bishop Connolly High School in Fall River, Massachusetts.
Katie currently resides in Mattapoisett and is employed as a math teacher at Ford Middle School in Acushnet.
