Swimming & Diving Teams Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has named both Bridgewater State University men's and women's swimming & diving teams to the 2024-2025 Fall Scholar All-America Teams.

The CSCAA selected 781 teams from 459 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2024 semester. These teams, comprising 19,209 student-athletes, were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements.

To earn this prestigious recognition, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) above 3.0 during the Fall 2024 semester. Of the selected teams, an impressive 654 recorded a GPA of 3.30 or higher.

On the women's side, BSU maintained a team GPA of 3.35 across 27 participants. The men's team earned a 3.28 team GPA across 24 student-athletes. Both teams earned selection to the CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams under the guidance of head coach Mike Caruso.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
