Karen Croteau

Karen Croteau was a four-year athlete in both field hockey and basketball, captaining both teams her senior year. At the time of her induction, Karen held BSC field hockey single-season records for goals (29), assists (9) and points (60), as well as career marks for goals (60), assists (22) and points (186). Her career records for goals and points still stand to this day. As a senior in 1982, Karen led the Bears (13-6-3) to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in the program's history.

In basketball, Karen led the Bears to a 17-8 record during her senior season of 1982-83 and the team's first NCAA Tournament appearance. She averaged a team-leading 12.6 points per game during the 82-83 campaign. A native of Blackstone, MA, Karen is presently an Exercise Physiologist at the Mid-Coast Rehabilitation Center in Bath, Maine. She now calls Topsham, Maine home.
