Head Coach Nicole Morrissette is a Bridgewater State and Kinetic Edge Alum. Morrissette is a Somerset, MA native and has over 20 years of dance training, in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop. Morrissette graduated from Bridgewater State University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Special Education. During her time at BSU, Morrissette was a 4-year member of Kinetic Edge Hip Hop Team and performed in various shows with the Bridgewater State University Dance Company.
Morrissette has been recognized for her choreography at various regional and national dance competitions as the choreographer for Youth Musical Theater Corporation's Rising Momentum. She has developed many title-winning dancers and has received choreography awards at Nexstar, Diva Dance Competition, and Starquest. Morrissette is also a fitness instructor and is certified in Zumba, Buti Sculpt, Hot Core, and Buti Yoga.
This is Morrissette's first year coaching the Bridgewater State University Hip Hop Team, Kinetic Edge. She is passionate about leading the team's growth, and hopes to combine her knowledge of exercise to help develop stronger dancers.
