BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Hard work pays off yet again for the Bridgewater State Cheerleading Team who earned their eighth National Title.
The Bears captured the Intermediate Small Coed Division III national title for the second straight season with an impressive total score of 95.13 points at the at the 2024 National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Collegiate National Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida.
North Central College followed in second place with 90.54 points while UMass Dartmouth (88.97 pts.) rounded out the top three teams.
This marks the eighth national championship for Bridgewater State cheerleading. The Bears captured the All-Girl Advanced title in 2011, 2014, 2019, 2021 and 2022, as well as the Intermediate Small Coed championship in 2021, 2023 and now 2024.
