Melissa Bonomo joined the Bridgewater State University Department of Athletics & Recreation as the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation in November of 2013.  Melissa brings many successful years of experience to Bridgewater in various recreational settings including college intramural programs, fitness center and summer recreational programs.

Originally from Hazleton, Pennsylvania, Melissa received a Bachelor of Science degree from Kutztown University in Leisure and Sport Studies in 2008 and a Masters degree in Sports Management and Athletics from West Chester University in May of 2013. While at West Chester, Melissa served as the Graduate Assistant of Intramural Sports.

Melissa, who presently resides in Abington, enjoys playing all sports, especially basketball and softball, and is an active member of the National Intramural & Recreation Sports Association (NIRSA).
