Ben Kaeterle was named to the Bridgewater State volleyball coaching staff in the summer of 2020. Coach Kaeterle is a 2010 graduate of Bridgewater State where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a concentration in Communication Technologies.

Kaeterle comes to Bridgewater after spending three seasons (2017-2019) as an assistant coach for the Dean College men's volleyball team. Prior to coaching at Dean, Ben was the head varsity coach for the Wareham High School girls volleyball team beginning in 2014 and coached the Wareham High boys varsity team from 2012 to 2013. 

Kaeterle also coached the Bay State Summer Games, serving as assistant coach for the Coastal Boys' program, and worked as a volleyball counselor at Whaler Volleyball Camp from 2006-10. He also coached Max Performance Club Volleyball and is the camp director for Spike Town Volleyball.

In addition to his role as a volleyball coach, Kaeterle is also an Applied Behavioral Analysis Therapist. He works for Behavioral Development Educational Services in New Bedford, Massachusetts, and became the lead ABA therapist in September 2016.

As a player at New Bedford High school in 2006, Kaeterle was named a Big 3 Volleyball Conference All Star, and made the Standard Times Volleyball Scholastic Team. He was named to the Dean's List and was a member of the National Honor Society. He was also a Gold Medalist in the 2005 Volleyball Bay State Games.
