Madden, 4x200 Relay Compete at DIII New England Championships

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – Bridgewater State University senior Jenise Madden (Milford, Mass.) and the Bears' 4x200-meter relay squad competed on Friday at the 2020 Division III New England Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Middlebury College.

Madden placed 20th out of a field of 30 runners in the 5,000-meter run as she posted a time of 18:42.95.

Senior Tess Miller (Uxbridge, Mass.) and freshmen Madison Ashley (Freetown, Mass.), Jailene Escalera (Rockland, Mass.) and Lily Marra (Lakeville, Mass.) finished 13th in the 4x200 with a season-best time of 1:50.06.

Eleven members of the BSU women's indoor track & field team will compete on Saturday during the second and final day of the Division III New England Championships.
