LOWELL, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University freshman Jayci Andrews (Plymouth, Mass.) won the 100-meter hurdles and set a school record in the 400-meter dash at the George Davis Invitational hosted by UMass Lowell on Saturday.

Andrews posted season-best a time of 14.80 seconds in the hurdles as she qualified for the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships. She currently ranks 25th in all of Division III in the event.

Andrews finished second in the 400 with a time of 57.68 seconds as she eclipsed Co Davis' previous BSU outdoor mark of 58.28 seconds set in 2012.

Senior Ariele Krevosky (Oxford, Mass.) placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.29 seconds.
