Krevosky Places Sixth at Holy Cross Heptathlon

WORCESTER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University junior Ariele Krevosky (Oxford, Mass.) placed sixth at the Holy Cross Heptathlon on Thursday.

Krevosky was the highest scoring Division III student-athlete at the heptathlon meet as she posted a score of 3,808 points. Freshman Bridget Deveau of UMass Amherst won the event title with a score of 4,597 points.

Krevosky's highest scoring event was the 100-meter hurdles as she posted a time of 15.14 seconds to register 823 points. She also notched 688 points in the 800-meter run (2:30.42), 601 points in the 200-meter dash (28.38) and 588 points in the high jump (4'9.75"/1.47m).

Kresvosky also registered 554 points in the long jump (16'4.25"/4.98m), 301 points in the shot put (21'2.5"/6.46m) and 253 points in the javelin (59'3"/18.07m).

Freshman Tori O'Dea (South Dennis, Mass.) finished in 12th place with 3,270 points. O'Dea's top score was also in the 100-meter hurdles as she recorded a time of 16.63 seconds to notch 639 points.

O'Dean also tallied 608 points in the 800-meter run (2:36.99), 509 points in the 200-meter dash (29.62), 399 points in the high jump (4'2.75"/1.29m), 380 points in the shot put (25'3.25"/7.70m), 373 points in the javelin (80'4"/24.50m) and 362 points in the long Jump (13'10.5"/4.23M).

On Friday, the BSU outdoor track & field teams will compete at the 9th Annual ECSU Invitational.
