Krevosky Set School Mark, Places Fifth in the Pentathlon at ECAC Championships

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Junior Ariele Krevosky (Oxford, Mass.) garnered All-ECAC honors and set the school record in the pentathlon during day one of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Championships held on Friday at the New Balance Track & Field Center in New York.

Krevosky posted an overall score of 3,045 points to finish fifth in the event and break Carrie Robitaille's previous BSU mark of 2,962 points set in 2012.

Krevosky placed first in the long jump (16'8.50"/5.09m), second in the high jump (4'11.75"/1.52m), fourth in the 60-meter hurdles (9.37), fifth in the 800-meter run (2:33.92) and 12th in the shot put (23'1.75"/7.05m).

Krevosky's highest scoring event was the hurdles as she posted a score of 834 points. She also recorded a score of 645 points in the 800 and 644 points in the high jump.

The ECAC Division III Championship meet continues on Saturday.
