Krevosky Earns All-New England Honors in the Pentathlon at DIII New Englands

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. -- Junior Ariele Krevosky (Oxford, Mass.) posted a score of 2,944 points in the pentathlon to place fourth in the event and earn All-New England honors at the 2015 Division III New England Women's Indoor Track & Field  Championships hosted by Smith College on Friday.

Krevosky placed third in the long jump (16'5.25"/5.01m), fourth in the 60-meter hurdles (9.37) and tied for fourth in the high jump (4'11.50"/1.51m).  She also finished sixth in the 800-meter run (2:35.12) and 15th in the shot put (20'5.25"/6.23m).

Krevosky's highest scoring event was the hurdles as she posted a score of 834 points.  Her overall total of 2,944 points is five shy of her personal best (2,949) and 18 off Carrie Robitaille's BSU program mark of 2,962 set in 2012.

Peyton Dostie of the University of Southern Maine captured the pentathlon title with a score of 3,444 points.  She was followed by Alyssa Jasper of Worcester State University (3,236 pts) in second place and Jenna Athanasopoulos of Colby College (3,031 pts). 

The Division III New England Championship meet continues for the Bears' indoor track & field teams on Saturday.
