CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Sophomore Samantha Richner (Hanson, Mass.) captured the meet title in the high jump and equaled her own school mark in the event to lead the Bridgewater State University women's indoor track & field team at the non-scoring MIT Art Farnham Invitational on Saturday.

Richner posted a height of five feet, five inches (1.65 meters) as she tied her previous mark set last season at the BU John Thomas Terrier Classic. Richner currently ranks tenth in all of Division III in the high jump.

Junior Danielle Poto (North Andover, Mass.) and sophomore Abbie Pustis (Andover, Mass.) also added individual titles for the Bears.  Poto was the first to cross the line in the 3,000-meter run (11:25.83), while Pustis garnered top honors in the 400-meter dash (1:02.15).

Junior Ariele Krevosky (Oxford, Mass.) placed second in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.35 seconds.  She ranks 34th in Division III in the event.

Junior Theresa Connolly (North Andover, Mass.) and sophomore Traci Perry (Middleboro, Mass.) added second place finishes in the 800-meter run (2:28.29) and 200-meter dash (27.12), respectively.

The Bears will be competing in a pair of meets next weekend; the Terrier Classic on Friday and the Tufts Stampede on Saturday.
