Krevosky Breaks BSU 60-Meter Hurdle Mark at Day One of ECAC Championships

BOSTON, Mass. -- Sophomore Ariele Krevosky (Oxford, Mass.) eclipsed her own school mark in the 60-meter hurdles to lead the Bridgewater State University women's indoor track and field team during day one of the ECAC Division III Championships held at the Reggie Lewis Center on Friday.

Krevosky posted a time of 9.26 seconds to tie for 13th place in the preliminaries of the 60 hurdles.  She broke her previous BSU indoor standard of 9.36 seconds set earlier this season at the DIII New England Championships.

Freshman Sydney Bennett (North Attleboro, Mass.) finished 11th in the shot put with a toss of 37 feet, 7.25 inches (11.46 meters).

The Bears' relay squad of seniors Karen Anselmi (Franklin, Mass.), Caitlin DiLorezo (Seekonk, Mass.) and Laura McHugh (Mansfield, Mass.), and freshman Traci Perry (Middleboro, Mass.) placed 16th in the 4x200 with a time of 1:46.30.

The ECAC Championships will continue on Saturday.
