LA CROSSE, Wisc. -- Bridgewater State University senior Molly Rouillard garnered All-American honors in the women's 1,500-meter run at the 2013 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse on Saturday.

Rouillard finished seventh in the finals of the 1,500 as she broke her own school record with a time of 4:27.87.  She eclipsed her previous mark of 4:31.17 set earlier this season at the Princeton University Larry Ellis Invitation.

Rouillard was also the top finisher from the New England region as she easily outdistanced Sarah Quinn and Brooke Johnson of MIT.   Quinn (4:34.30) and Johnson (4:45.29) placed 11th and 12th, respectively.

Rouillard also finished 15th in the 5,000-meter run later in the day on Saturday as she posted a time of 17:19.15.  She also qualified in the 10,000-meter run but chose not to compete in the event at the national championship meet.

This past indoor season, Rouillard placed seventh in the one-mile run (4:53.68) to achieve All-American status.
