Rouillard Earns All-American Honors in Mile at NCAA Division III Indoor Championships

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Bridgewater State University senior distance runner Molly Rouillard (Dartmouth, Mass.) placed seventh in the finals of the one-mile run to earn All-American honors at the NCAA Division III Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday at North Central College.

Rouillard recorded a time of 4:53.68 which was less than 2/10 of a second off her school record time of 4:53.49 set on Friday in the preliminaries.

Chrissy Cazzola of Wisconsin-Oshkosh won the national title in the mile with a time of 4:48.11.  She was followed in the final standings by fellow All-Americans Sheena Cawley of Franklin and Marshall (4:49.45), Annie Monagle of Johns Hopkins (4:49.64), Luther's Tricia Serres (4:50.50), Brianne Mirecki of Williams (4:51.19), Rowan's Vanessa Wright (4:53.38), Rouillard and Jennifer Randall of Ithaca (4:58.65).

This past fall, Rouillard competed in the NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championships and finished 50th out of 277 runners.
