Rouillard Sets BSU Mile Mark to Lead Women's Track at NEICAAA Indoor Championships

BOSTON, Mass. -- The Bears wrapped up competition in the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships today at Boston University. The two-day event consisted of qualifying New England schools throughout all three divisions.

The ladies did not score any points but did have two impressive performances on the track.

Molly Rouillard (Dartmouth, Mass) broke her own school record in the mile with a time of 4:58.90, placing ninth in the event. Her previous record was 5:15.79 set in 2011.

The 4x400 team of Karen Anselmi (Franklin, Mass) Ashley Aldred (Saugus, Mass), Caitlin DiLorenzo (Seekonk, Mass), and Laura McHugh (Mansfield, Mass) ran a time of 4:02.33, qualifying them for the ECAC Championships.

Next week the Bears will head to the New Balance Armory in New York City and compete at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Championships on Friday and Saturday.
