CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University women's indoor track and field team competed at the Harvard Open on Saturday.

In her first race of the season, Molly Rouillard (Dartmouth, Mass.) qualified for the Division III New England Championship meet in the mile.  Rouillard posted a time of 5:17.45 as she finished third in the event.

Melissa Chiasson (Maynard, Mass.) placed tenth in the weight throw with a toss of 42 feet, two inches. Karen Anselmi (Franklin, Mass.) ran a 1:24.84 in the 500-meter dash and placed 11th.  Freshman Breana Evans (Saugus, Mass.) finished ninth in the high jump with a leap of four feet, nine inches.

The Bears are off until January 19th when they travel to Wheaton College for the Wheaton Invitational.
