CLAREMONT, Calif. -- Bridgewater State University junior Molly Rouillard (Dartmouth, Mass.) placed 12th out of 22 competitors in the 10,000-meter run at the 2012 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday evening hosted by Claremont Mudd Scripps.

Rouillard posted a time of 37:03.95 as she was one of only two runners from New England competing in the event.  MIT freshman Elaine McVay finished one spot ahead in 11th place with a time of 37:00.15.

Rouillard is one of two Bridgewater State student-athletes competing at the national championship meet.  Classmate Michael McPherson (Mansfield, Mass.) will vie in the shot put on Saturday evening (7:05 PM EST).
