The Anchorwomen wrap up regular season play with a record of 11-2 including a 7-1 mark in the Little East. RIC will be the #2 seed in next week's Little East Tournament and will have a first-round bye.

The Bears fall to 7-4 with the setback and 4-2 in conference play.

The Anchorwomen swept the three doubles matches and captured five of the six singles flights.

In doubles play, RIC senior Anna Vygoder (Lincoln, R.I.) and sophomore Li hsiu Hou (Kingston, R.I.) teamed for an 8-2 win at number three while senior Amiah Sommer (Cumberland, R.I.) and junior Amara Devine (Greenville, R.I.) battled to an 8-6 decision at the second flight. The top flight pairing of senior Lauren Macera (Cranston, R.I.) and sophomore Erica Botelho (Greenville, R.I.) completed the doubles sweep for the Anchorwomen as the duo won in a tie-breaker, 8-7 (8-6).

BSU senior Allison Carter (Raynham, Mass.) picked up the Bears' lone point of the match with a 6-2, 6-1 straight set win at the third singles flight.

Bridgewater wraps up Little East and regular season play with two matches this weekend. The Bears host Castleton University on Saturday afternoon at two o'clock and travel to Plymouth University on Sunday afternoon to take on the Panthers at one.

Notes: RIC has won each of the last nine meetings of the two teams. The Anchorwomen are 16-11 versus the Bears since BSU joined the Little East in 2004.
