BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University freshman Sailor Nordstrom has been named to the 2019 Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Tennis All-Conference Team.

Nordstrom, the Bears lone representative on the All-Little East Team, earned second team honors in singles competition.

A native of New Bedford, Massachusetts, Nordstrom posted an overall singles record of 4-11 with a 2-6 Little East mark competing exclusively at the top flight in her rookie campaign. She also went 6-9 at #1 doubles with a 3-4 record versus LEC opponents.

The BSU women's tennis team finished the 2019 season with a record of 7-9 including a 5-4 mark in Little East play. Seeded fourth in the LEC Tournament, the Bears knocked off #3 seed Worcester State University, 5-2, in the quarterfinals before dropping a 5-0 semifinal decision to top seed and eventual tournament champion Rhode Island College.
