BRIDGEWATER, Mass. - The Bridgewater State College women's tennis dropped a 9-0 decision to non-conference foe Wesleyan University this afternoon in Middletown, Connecticut.

The loss snaps a five-game winning streak for BSC as the Bears slip to 5-1 on the season with their first loss of the year. Wesleyan improves to 2-1 overall.

Wesleyan took all six singles matches and all three doubles flights to come away with the convincing win.

BSC's doubles team of sophomore Rachel Elman (Rehoboth, MA) and junior Paulina Ucher (Webster, MA)  took their second flight match to the wire, dropping a hard-fought 8-6 decision.
