WELLESLEY, Mass. -- Sophomore Cailey Simard (Haverhill, Mass.) garnered Diver of the Year honors and broke her own school and meet records in the one-meter diving competition to lead the Bridewater State University women's swimming & diving team on Saturday during day three of the the Little East Conference Championships held at the Boston Sports Institute.

Simard captured the meet title on the one-meter board with an 11-dive score of 464.20 points as she eclipsed her own program mark of 454.00 points set earlier this season at a tri-meet hosted by Brandeis University.

Simard picked up her second straight Little East Diver of the Year honors as she won the conference championship in both the one-meter and three-meter diving competitions during the four-day meet.

Freshman Ava Anderson (Lynn, Mass.) placed third on the one-meter board with a personal best 11-dive score of 328.80 points.

The Bears' 200 medley relay squad featuring senior Jenna Maxim (Lakeville, Mass.) and juniors Samantha White (Plymouth, Mass.), Brianna Matte (Cumberland, R.I.) and Jenna Fiebiger (Johannesburg, South Africa) placed second in the event with a time of 1:55.40.

The foursome of Matte, fellow juniors Olivia Pelletier (East Kingston, N.H.) and Brynn Murray (Chelmsford, Mass.), and sophomore Emily Bradford (Pittsfield, Mass.) finished third in the 800 freestyle relay with a time of 8:30.41.
