KINGSTON, R.I. -- Qualifying members of the Bridgewater State University women's swimming & diving team competed during day three of the 2017 New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Division III Championships on Saturday at the University of Rhode Island.

The Bears' 200 medley relay squad featuring seniors Mikaela Ross (Andover, Mass.) and Sarah Biltcliffe (Fall River, Mass.), and juniors Abbie Grant (Mansfield, Mass.) and Rebecca Foster (Billerica, Mass.) placed 12th in the finals of the event with a time of 1:59.69.

Grant added a 14th place showing in the finals of the 50 butterfly with a time of 28.65 seconds.

The four-day championship event continues on Sunday morning with the preliminary round getting underway at ten.
