BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University women's swimming & diving team picked up wins in the 50 butterfly and the 200 freestyle relay as the Bears dropped a 153-78 decision to visiting Wheaton College on Wednesday evening at the Moriarty Pool.

The Bears' foursome of sophomore Danielle Souza (Mansfield, Mass.), freshman Abigail Bailey (Hanson, Mass.), senior Shae Aiguier (Braintree, Mass.) and junior Rebecca Foster (Billerica, Mass.) posted a winning time of 1:53.14 in the 200 freestyle relay.

Junior Abbie Grant (Mansfield, Mass.) won the 50 butterfly with a time of 28.40 seconds.

Souza, Grant, Foster and senior Sarah Biltcliffe (Fall River, Mass.) placed second in the 200 medley relay (2:00.36), while Biltcliffe added a second place showing in the 50 breaststroke (34.31).

The Bears (1-3) host Clark University on Saturday afternoon at two.
