Women's Swimming & Diving Competes at Regis Tri-Meet

WESTON, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University women's swimming & diving team competed at a tri-meet hosted by Regis College on Saturday.

The Bears lost to host Regis by a score of 162-107, and dropped a 147-113 decision to Eastern Connecticut State University.

Senior Sarah Biltcliffe (Fall River, Mass.) swept the two breaststroke events as she placed first in both the 50 breaststroke (33.70) and the 100 breaststroke (1:13.42).

Junior Jessica Higgins (Peabody, Mass.) paced the host Pride with three individual event wins. Higgins also served as the final leg in the first event of the day, the women's 200 medley relay. 

The Bears return to the pool on Tuesday evening when they travel to UMass Dartmouth for a six o'clock meet with the Corsairs.
