DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University women's swimming & diving team competed at the non-scoring Louise Goodrum Invitational hosted by UMass Dartmouth on Saturday.
Freshman Laurinda Rocha (Brockton, Mass.) placed second in both the one-meter and three-meter diving events. Rocha posted a score of 202.10 points on the one-meter board and 212.65 points on the three-meter.
Sophomore Abbie Grant (Mansfield, Mass.) finished third in both the 100 freestyle (59.69) and the 50 butterfly (29.18).
Freshman Nicole Moneghan (Lincoln, R.I.) added a third place performance in the 1,650 freestyle (20:10.67).
The Bears 200 medley relay squad of Grant, Monaghan, senior Michaela Pereira (Rehoboth, Mass.) and junior Mikaela Ross (Andover, Mass.) finished third in the event with a time of 2:03.39.
Up next, the Bears travel to Wheaton College on Wednesday night for a seven o'clock meet with the Lyons.
